THE STORY
Aseda’s story began in 2009 when Anthony Kirk went in search of the world’s best raw, organic and sustainable honey.
Anthony’s quest eventually took him to Ghana, where he met Nana Kwasi Agyemang of the Ashanti-Twi tribe and his life would never be the same. After he met with the tribe, they shared their sacred dark rich honey with him, it was unlike any he had never tasted before. It was spectacular and to his pleasure it was pure, sustainable and harvested from the untouched regions of the Mole National Forest. He also became abundantly aware of the beautiful culture, which harvested it. After spending several weeks with the tribe, he learned much about kindness, sharing and gratitude. Having felt this in a way he’d never felt before he set out on a mission to spread the delicious honey and his new found ideals. He returned to Salt Lake City Utah and built a team of likeminded professionals, athletes and activists to help him in his mission. Aseda is more than honey, it’s a cause, a collective and foremost it’s about gratitude.
