What is Shea Butter?

Aseda Shea Butter is extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii), native to the Savannah’s of Africa. The origin of the English word “Shea” is “sii’, a word from the Bambara  language spoken in Mali which means, ‘sacred tree’.
