Honey Glazed Salmon

Ingredients
- 4 fresh salmon fillets
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup of sifted flour
- 2 tablespoons of raw honey
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 organic lime, zested
For the Honey-Butter Sauce
- ¼ cup of grass fed butter
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- ¼ cup of raw honey
- 1 organic lime, juiced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the butter-lime sauce by melting the butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook for 3 minutes and add in the garlic, honey and lime juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper and cook for about 2 minutes while stirring regularly.
- Season the fillets with salt and pepper and rub evenly on both sides. Brush with 1 tablespoon of honey and dredge with flour.
- In a pan, apply medium-high heat and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, sear the fillets for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake it in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with honey-butter sauce and lime zest on top. Serve immediately.
